SHIPS TIMBERS WASHED UP ON MARLOES SANDS

“As photographed this past Saturday.  Couldn't possibly drag the larger bits to add to the collection; some would take 3 people to shift them!

I think the most important point is that those are nearly all fixing holes for wooden pegs, not nails or bolts: surely that's quite an old vessel, breaking up out there below low water mark.”
